Abstract Human resource needs are not only technical matters, namely how to calculate the number and types of personnel needed by organizations, especially hospitals in the future, but also both all aspects related to humans as social beings working in an organization. Filling (Storage) Is a place to store Medical record documents safely, then filing is a very important part, and therefore filing must be arranged perfectly in an organization. General Purpose to find out the human resource needs of the medical record filing unit in RS TPT Tk.III Dr. R. Soeharsono Banjarmasin. Specific objectives. Knowing the available working time of storage clerk there are 1,816 days / year (108,960 minutes / year), knowing the storage clerk's work unit, knowing the storage clerk's workload standard is 108,960: 8 = 13,650 m / year, Knowing the storage officer allowance standard is 0.057 hr hr, Analyzing Human Resource Needs Storage Section. This type of research used by researchers is quantitative descriptive research method. This research was conducted to describe or describe the need for human resources in the filing unit of the TPT Hospital TK.III Dr. R. Soeharsono Banjarmasin. From the results of WISN calculations and it can be concluded that based on calculations using the WISN method, the number of officers currently needed is still insufficient. Because officers in the Unit of Filing there are only 3 TPT Tk.III Dr. R. Soeharsono Hospital Banjarmasin and not medical recorders. Meanwhile, what is needed in the Unit Filing is an officer who is actually a Medical Manager, from this calculation it is necessary to add 1 Medical Recorder officer.
